A blog in which I rant about any number of things that irk or irritate me- some college-centric, others more far reaching. I may also say some nice things accidentally.

Hope you all enjoyed last week’s selected track “Guts for Garters”. If you haven’t heard it yet get on over to www.soundcloud.com/lestrange to stream or download it (and some other great songs) for free.

The choices for this weeks vote are as follows:

Has Anyone Seen Jimmy?

The Devil in The Dancehall

Killin’ Time (And Brain Cells)

Flat Tires and a Full Tank of Gas

Any new voters this week will get a copy of “Smoking Room Demos”- a CD featuring studio and live tracks from Lestrange (quantities are limited, first come first served). The chosen song will be available for free streaming/download from Soundcloud Friday evening.

Cast your vote by commenting here, on my Facebook fan page (Gareth McNamara- Lestrange) or by tweeting @LestrangeMusic with your chosen title hashtagged (#). Hope to hear from you and keep listening!

I was lucky enough to see the fantastic Imelda May in concert last Friday (one of the best live performers living today, if she’s ever near you I recommend you go see her) and even had a little chat with Ireland’s Queen of Rockabilly afterwards :) If you’re not familiar with Imelda and the band, check out their site: www.imeldamay.co.uk. It’s the one piece of advice I can give you which I guarantee won’t backfire. Unless you, like, hate music. In which case, you’re beyond my help.
